Concerts for Children
Children’s entertainer and songwriter Diana Lynn Carter sings and plays guitar and piano in her children's concerts. She performs fun, upbeat songs and encourages interaction from her audience of children and parents alike. Concerts can be designed for specific ages and personalized for special events.
"Sing About Science" Assemblies
“Sing About Science” assemblies, offered through Children’s Creative Project, combine live music, dance, and theater with science facts. Interactive performances are designed to inspire creative expression, engage children in the performing arts experience and get students excited about learning science.
Children’s entertainer and songwriter Diana Lynn Carter, brings her original science songs, approved by the California Department of Education, to life in her “Sing about Science” assemblies. Songs include:
- Butterfly - a Latin tune about metamorphosis
- The Weather Song - a hip-hop song about the water cycle and weather facts
- Solar System - a calypso melody about our solar system
- Rock-a-Boogie - a blues tune about metamorphic, sedimentary and igneous rocks
- The Earth and Me - a folk-rock song about taking environmental responsibility
- Green Plant Recipe - a do-op rock & roll song about how plants grow
- Song for All Seasons - A musical reggae story describing the four seasons
